Resolve Recruit is looking to partner with gateway engineering professionals on job opportunities across our clients in the Commonwealth Government and private sector organisation. Both permanent and contract roles are available across a range of levels.

Resolve Recruit regularly hires for gateway engineers for clients ranging from federal agencies to managed service providers and systems integrators supporting government. Roles vary in scope and seniority to from hands-on technical delivery through to architecture, strategic advisory and team leadership. If you have a background in gateway infrastructure, internet security platforms or data centre networking and are open to exploring what is available, we would like to connect with you.

Types of Responsibilities You May Be Involved In:

Supporting or leading the design, evaluation and implementation of gateway and data centre infrastructure, including high availability, backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Providing technical support across project build, test and deployment activities,

Contributing to design, implementation and support documentation.

Administering and maintaining gateway network infrastructure, including patching, configuration management and day-to-day operational support.

Engaging with stakeholders, third party suppliers and other agencies to support service delivery — with the level of engagement scaling to your experience.

Contributing to research on emerging technologies and recommending products or approaches that improve gateway capability and security posture.

Sharing knowledge with teammates and contributing to continuous improvement to whether as a developing engineer or an experienced subject matter expert.

Experience and Skills We Are Looking For:

A background in gateway engineering, data centre networking or internet security infrastructure to at any stage, from developing practitioners through to senior specialists.

Exposure to or hands-on experience with gateway and security technologies such as F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Symantec or Cisco data centre platforms (ACI, Nexus, routers).

Familiarity with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF or EIGRP.

Experience supporting or designing network infrastructure in enterprise or government environments.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to whether you are learning from others or mentoring those around you.
