Flow Healthcare is looking for a capable and motivated Occupational Therapist (Level 2) to join our growing team in a casual position with a consistent weekly caseload. Your role will be supporting older adults to live independently and safely in their homes across our region. You will also have the opportunity to support adults living with a disability who access the NDIS.

About the role
Casual employment with consistent weekly caseload (typically up to 15 hours/week, with opportunity to increase)
Work structured to support regular billable hours including sessions and report writing
Opportunity to build caseload over time if desired
Community-based work including supporting older adults accessing the Support At Home program, and a small caseload of adult NDIS participants
This role requires travel and work locations include: client’s homes, Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF), and community settings.
Flow Healthcare is a fully mobile healthcare service with documentation and non-face-to-face tasks completed remotely / Work From Home setting.
Structured face to face induction with shadowing and regular clinical support provided.
Consistent referral flow and scheduling support provided to help maintain reliable weekly hours
What you’ll be doing
Provide in-home OT services to Support At Home clients with diverse health needs
Provide community-based OT services to NDIS participants
Conduct assessments and implement goal-directed, evidence-based interventions
Collaborate with clients, Care Managers, Support Coordinators, health professionals, and stakeholders to deliver tailored therapeutic plans
Prescribe equipment including wheelchairs, assistive aids, and minor home modifications
Provide falls and pressure injury prevention, education, and interventions.
Provide manual handling education and intervention
Prepare clear, timely, and clinically sound reports
Complete documentation and administrative tasks within expected timeframes
Work in line with professional standards, organisational processes, and clinical expectations, including knowledge and understanding of NDIS and My Aged Care funding bodies requirements
Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and other health professionals
What we’re looking for
Degree in Occupational Therapy and Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist (with no restrictions)
Demonstrated experience in community-based OT
Comprehensive experience and competence in completing functional assessments and reports including initials, falls, functional capacity and assistive technology.
Ability to work independently within established clinical and operational expectations
Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
Commitment to professional development and achieving billable expectations
Valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Current Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid and CPR
Willingness to obtain annual flu vaccination
