Kerbside Eatery is a fast casual American diner serving high-quality, made-to-order food across three Sydney locations — with a fourth opening soon. We're not QSR, we're not sit-down dining. We're something in between, and it's working. The brand has momentum, customers love it, and we're scaling. What we need now is the operational backbone to match our ambition.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You'll have full autonomy to build the systems this brand runs on. No playbook handed to you, no corporate sign-off chain, no politics. You'll report directly to the founder, own your decisions, and see the results of your work in real time. If you've been waiting for a role where you can actually build something ,this is it.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Labor scheduling across all locations
- Inventory and food cost systems
- Front and Back-of-house procedures and standards
- New hire and training program, built by you
- Store opening execution — from lease signed to doors open
- Spotting and recruiting strong people when the time comes
THE PERSON WE NEED
You're the kind of operator who walks into a location and immediately sees what's broken. You fix it without being asked, without fanfare, and without needing someone to check your work. You'll get on the floor, work the kitchen, run a shift — not because you have to, but because that's how you understand what actually needs to change. You don't need hand-holding. You love ownership.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years in QSR or fast casual operations in Australia
- Must have current Australian work authorisation
- Opened at least one location from lease signing through ramp-up
- Built systems that solved real operational problems — and have the results to prove it
- Multi-site experience or oversight across more than one location
- Current food safety certification
