Quality Manager | Aged Care | Brisbane
South Brisbane
Permanent, Full-Time position
1 day WFH after probation
The most attractive part of this role is getting to work closely with Alexandra Tsavasilis-Faull. I've interviewed a lot of people for the Pioneers in Aged Care Podcast, but I'll be honest, when her episode view count started leapfrogging some of the most notable names in the industry, I had one question.
"Just who are you, Alexandra?"
Turns out, when you treat everyone with kindness wherever you go, you tend to pick up a fan or two. I met her not even three hours after I'd relocated to Brisbane, and she took me on a conversational rollercoaster. Immediately, I was in awe of her journey, in stitches from her humour, in admiration of her values and in love with her energy.
She's Real, Raw, and Runs through brick walls for her team.
She doesn’t do "scripts" and she doesn't "work in the gray." If you find a gap in compliance, she wants you to call it out so it can be fixed. No ego, no hiding mistakes. Just moral, ethical care.
She heads up a community-based provider in South Brisbane, and if you’re tired of the usual corporate "care speak," you’re going to want to hear about this one.
The industry is currently facing a massive hurdle with Support at Home. While most providers are scrambling to figure out how to provide 100% service on those 60% interim funding entitlements, my client is looking further ahead.
They have over 1,000 CHSP clients transitioning on July 1st, 2027. They aren't waiting for the deadline to hit; they are treating it like a full-scale stress test for the organization. They need a Senior Quality Advisor with a clinical background to come in now and spend the next 18 months making sure the quality systems can actually handle that kind of scale.
The Setup:
Community-First: They’ve been around for 40 years. They care about the elders, not a dividend.
Flexibility: "Family First" is a real thing here. If you need to attend an award ceremony, or be with your family, you've got the green light.
WFH. eventually. They'll need you around for the most part, but after probation, it's only fair to be able to work from home at least once a week assuming you've put everything in place.
Systems: They are currently implementing AlayaCare and MOA. You’ll be the person translating clinical requirements into these systems to make sure nothing slips through the cracks during the 2027 rollout.
What you need:
Demonstrated experience in aged care quality, risk, and compliance
AHPRA Registration as an RN. You need to guide the team on PEG feeds, meds, and palliative care.
NDIS experience is also HIGHLY regarded
Driver Licence. You'll need to take infrequent visits to satellite office and local NDIS facilities (pool cars available).
Full working rights in Australia. VISA Sponsorship is not available for this role
If you want a role where you can sleep at night because you're doing things the right way, let’s have a chat.
