The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join a well-established national organisation on a permanent basis.
Managing a medium-sized AR team, this role will oversee the full receivables function within a busy, high-volume environment. You will be responsible for driving collections performance, supporting cashflow management and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies across the function.
Working closely with Finance leadership and key operational stakeholders, this position will suit a resilient, hands-on leader who can effectively manage competing priorities while balancing day-to-day operations with reporting, analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function
Lead, mentor and support a medium-sized team of AR Officers
Manage daily banking, receipting, invoicing and cash allocation activities
Drive debt collection outcomes while maintaining strong customer relationships
Monitor aged debtors and support cashflow performance across the business
Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and account queries
Prepare AR reporting, reconciliations and performance insights
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies and financial procedures
About You
5+ years’ experience leading an Accounts Receivable or Credit function
Strong end-to-end AR experience within a high-volume environment
Confident managing collections, escalations and customer relationships
Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including reporting and reconciliations
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
Hands-on leadership approach with experience mentoring and developing teams
Previous experience within large or complex organisations highly regarded
Strong ERP knowledge and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
