Marble and Ceramic Corp, a leading supplier of premium marble and ceramic products, is seeking a full-time and experienced IT Support and AI Software Developer to join our team. This role is primarily focused on providing reliable IT support across the business, including our e-commerce platform (PrestaShop), accounting software (QuickBooks), and internal network. You will also contribute to building tailored software solutions using AI-powered coding tools. This is an opportunity for a hands-on tech professional who can keep our systems running smoothly while helping shape the digital future of an established company in the stone and tile industry.

Role: IT Support and AI Software Developer

Location: In-Person, Banksmeadow, Sydney

Engagement: Full-time

Start Date: As soon as available

Remuneration: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

IT Support (Primary Focus)

Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across the business

Support and maintain Google Workspace and QuickBooks, resolving user issues and ensuring reliable access

Manage and maintain the company’s internal network, devices, and IT infrastructure

Collaborate with management, sales, and operations teams to deliver practical technology solutions

E-Commerce and Web Development

Maintain and optimise our PrestaShop e-commerce platform for performance, security, and user experience

Handle front-end and back-end tasks including theme updates, module configuration, and third-party integrations

Manage website security and performance tools such as Cloudflare and MySQL databases

AI-Driven Software Development

Build internal tailored software tools using AI-powered platforms such as Claude Code, Cursor, and similar

Identify opportunities for and implement AI-driven automations to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for the business

Skills and Experiences

Essential

Experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and network administration

Proficiency in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP)

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, particularly PrestaShop (or Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)

Working knowledge of Google Workspace and QuickBooks

Experience with database systems (MySQL) and basic server management

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Desirable

Experience using AI-powered coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)

Understanding of Cloudflare, API integrations, and web security best practices

Interest in the building, design, or construction industry
