Our market-leading team of?valuers, transaction advisors, asset and investment managers,?economists, data scientists, property and compensation and litigation specialists, and ESG leaders provide the pathway to clarity, confidence and commercial results.?

We work across the project lifecycle - from vision and strategy all the way to asset management and performance?- taking a holistic approach to managing and delivering value, providing the multi-lens advice needed to optimise, manage and grow our clients' property projects.??

As an Accounts Payable Officer, every day is different!  You'll make an impact by:

Managing the end-to-end accounts payable process across retail, commercial and industrial property solutions

Processing supplier invoices and ad-hoc payments accurately, ensuring correct GST Treatment and cost allocation

Partnering closely with Property Managers, Asset Managers and suppliers to resolve invoice queries, reconcile statements and maintain strong working relationships

Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations and reporting

Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and delegated authorities

Identifying opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and systems, contributing to greater efficiency, accuracy and consistency across the function

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (preferred)

Minimum two years' experience in an Accounts Payable within a medium or large organisation

Proven, hands-on experience using MRI property Management Systems

Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications

Strong communication skills, with proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

A proactive, organised approach and discretion when handling confidential financial information

A collaborative mindset, to bring out the best in yourself and others while bringing new thinking to Urbis and our clients
