Ambition Health Group is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our growing care team across Greater Brisbane.

We are a trusted registered provider supporting clients through NDIS, My Aged Care, TAC, WorkSafe and NIISQ, delivering quality nursing and personal care across home, community and Specialist Disability Accommodation settings.

This role is ideal for experienced RNs who are passionate about providing high-quality clinical care to people living with disability, complex health needs, chronic conditions and aged care support needs.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Ambition Health Group, you will provide professional, person-centred clinical care to clients in their homes, community settings and supported accommodation environments.

Your responsibilities may include:

Conducting nursing assessments and developing care recommendations

Medication administration and medication management

Wound care and clinical observations

Health monitoring and reporting changes in client condition

Supporting clients with complex care needs

Liaising with families, support workers, care managers and allied health professionals

Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

Promoting dignity, independence, safety and quality of life for every client

Catheter care and catheter changes, including IDC/SPC where competent

Complex wound care, pressure injury care and dressing changes

PEG/enteral feeding support and medication administration

Diabetes management, BGL monitoring and insulin administration

Complex bowel care, stoma care and continence management

About You

We are looking for Registered Nurses who are reliable, compassionate and confident working independently in community-based care settings.

To be successful, you will need:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current National Police Check

Current Working with Children Check

Current First Aid and CPR

Driver’s licence

Own vehicle and comprehensive vehicle insurance preferred

Evidence of relevant vaccinations, including COVID-19, where required

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a care team

Experience in disability, aged care, community nursing or complex care will be highly regarded
