Stanley in Central is a licensed bistro and café serving specialty coffee, international flavours, and curated drinks. We’re a small but busy team, so every shift counts — and we’re looking for hands-on hospitality professionals to join us.

Open Roles

Supervisor to Hands-on FOH leader with RSA. Runs service, opens/closes, supports the team and handles guest feedback. Barista skills a strong advantage.

Barista to Confident on the machine with consistent quality coffee through the rush, plus tidy bar presentation.

Floor Staff to Customer-focused table service with RSA. Polished, attentive and calm under pressure.

Chef to 2+ years’ kitchen experience, clean and efficient, bistro/café background preferred.

Kitchen Hand to Reliable and quick on prep and dish, with solid food handling and hygiene.

What we’re looking for

Hospitality experience preferred (we’re happy to train the right people)

RSA required for FOH positions

FOH: barista skills essential, with polished table service and guest engagement skills

Chef: A solid 2+ years in café or bistro kitchens

Team players who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves

Resilience and calm under fast-paced or busy shifts

Strong communication skills and a genuine love for serving guests

What we offer

Hourly rates from 25 to 40 (casual), depending on role and experience

Meals provided on-shift
