We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support a major federal government client. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on enterprise network security, secure infrastructure operations, and the deployment and support of next-generation security technologies across complex government environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, manage, and support enterprise network security technologies across critical infrastructure environments

Manage and optimise F5, Palo Alto, WAF, IPS/IDS, VPN, and enterprise security platforms

Perform security testing, vulnerability management, configuration management, and compliance activities

Provide Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, operational support, and technical leadership across security engineering functions

Develop technical documentation, security standards, and operational procedures aligned to government security requirements

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years' experience in Network Security Engineering across enterprise or government environments

Strong hands-on experience across Palo Alto, F5, WAF, IPS/IDS, VPN, and enterprise firewall technologies

Experience supporting secure infrastructure, vulnerability management, and operational security environments

Strong understanding of enterprise security controls, compliance frameworks, and SIEM technologies such as Splunk

Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skills
