This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a thriving business in the industrial and manufacturing sector. You will play a critical role in cost accounting, inventory and stock management as well as budgeting, forecasting, reporting directly to a Financial Controller.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

Analyse and manage product costing to ensure accurate financial data.

Prepare and present detailed cost reports to support business strategies.

Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Monitor and evaluate inventory costing for accuracy and compliance.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, particularly in relation to costings.

Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

Profile

A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in cost accounting within the industrial or manufacturing sector.

Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

A solid understanding of inventory management and cost control processes.

Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.

CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is highly regarded.
