Your new role

As a Data Centre Technician, Electrician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining high-availability infrastructure within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Working as part of a skilled shift team, you'll be responsible for ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability across key systems.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintenance and fault-finding on critical power systems, including UPS and DC power

Monitoring and operation of BMS and site systems

Supporting backup generator testing and critical infrastructure checks

Conducting routine site inspections and compliance checks

Coordinating and overseeing specialist subcontractors

Completing technical reporting and documentation

Supporting general site operations and reacting to incidents as required

This is a hands-on, technically engaging role within a structured, high-performance environment.

What you'll need to succeed

Trade qualified Electrician (essential)

Proven experience in service, maintenance, or critical environments

Exposure to data centres or mission-critical facilities (highly regarded)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability

Confident using computer systems / CMMS / BMS

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work shift patterns, including nights and weekends

Ability to pass a criminal history check

You must be an Australian citzen and have a clear criminal history
