About the role

EWP Onsite Rentals is seeking an experienced truck mechanic to join our team here in Bendigo. In this leadership role you will be responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of our fleet of truck mounted and elevated work platforms. This is a key role that ensures our sales and rental fleet receives the highest quality repairs, service and support.

What you'll be doing

Performing regular inspections, maintenance, and servicing of a range of heavy equipment including truck mounted work platforms

Diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems in our truck fleet.

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed for our equipment service logs.

Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.

Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for improving fleet maintenance.

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in mechanical repair of heavy trucks is essential for this position.

Extensive experience in workshop repair of heavy trucks and elevated work platforms.

Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with our clients.

A commitment to workplace safety and a demonstrated understanding of regulations.

A current Heavy Rigid driver's licence and the ability to travel to worksites as required.

We offer a full time position with competitive rates for the successful applicant with relevant skills and demonstrated experience. A company work vehicle may also be available for the right candidate.
