Electrical Site Engineer

Region: Riyadh

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate electrical installation activities related to MV/LV power cables, control cables, fiber optic cables, DC cables, cable terminations, and testing works. The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise MV, LV, DC, control, and fiber optic cable laying activities.

Monitor cable pulling, dressing, tagging, clamping, routing, glanding, and termination works.

Coordinate with project management, QA/QC, HSE, and client representatives.

Review drawings, cable schedules, method statements, and technical specifications.

Ensure all works comply with project standards, approved procedures, and safety requirements.

Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Verify manpower allocation and resource utilization.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, and punch-list clearance activities.

Support material inspections and site documentation.

Ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

3–5 years of experience in electrical construction projects, substations, power plants, HVDC, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Experience with:

MV/LV cable laying and termination

Fiber optic cable installation and splicing

Control cable installation

DC cable systems

Electrical testing and commissioning support

Strong knowledge of electrical drawings and specifications.

Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.

Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred

Experience in HVDC, substation, or transmission projects.

Saudi Aramco, SEC, NEOM, or similar project experience.
