Who we are after:

We’re looking for a full time Senior Account Manager to join our sales team in Melbourne. We need a seasoned professional. An experienced salesperson with a strategic mindset and a customer focus. You will need to land running to service existing clients whilst simultaneously building a strong pipeline of new business.

What you will be doing: Developing and executing quarterly sales plans. Servicing your own client list to establish annual merch plans, organise quotes and proposals, and keep clients informed on existing orders. Targeting new leads to ensure a robust pipeline is in place at all times. Working with clients to develop thorough design briefs that are twice as nice. Partnering with our Design and Production teams to ensure briefs are understood and executed to meet client needs. Maintaining clear communication with clients through Salesforce to keep the whole team informed

Following up on request for proposals internally and externally to ensure client deadlines are met.

Conducting research for client proposals.

Pitching to warm prospect clients. Maintaining data integrity in Salesforce in real time, including customer insights, hot negotiations, open projects and pending deadlines. Mastering product knowledge of the Merchgirls Menu, custom options, pricing and timeframes. Delivering Merchgirls service that’s twice as nice and twice as effective.

About you:

You Minimum 7 years prior experience in a fast paced account management role in Australia

Strong commercial acumen

An existing network of corporate clients

Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM system is essential.

You have intermediate skills in Office 365 applications including word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint.

You are intuitive and self-motivated, able to anticipate needs to solve problems.

You have excellent written and verbal English language skills.

You have attention to detail and review before you hit send.

You manage time well and are naturally organised.

You are comfortable working in a deadline driven environment with competing priorities.

You have the right to live and work in Australia.

And of course, you have an eye for good design and a passion for delivering great customer experience
