Casual/sick leave/ holiday leave position 

Our clinic Help Medical is a well-established General Practice located in Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, with a large patient base. Our well-established doctors and team are passionate about providing high quality, holistic patient care.

We strive to be a centre of excellence providing quality healthcare and other outcomes for its patients, staff and local community.

We are recruiting for Practice Nurse's (RN) to join the practice and nursing team, on a casual / sick, holiday leave and basis to assist our doctors on a day-to-day basis.  Previous experience in general practice will be considered favorably, however, the right attitude is more important.

Practice Nurse Role includes:

Triage and patient assessment

Health Assessments

Infection control and cold chain procedure

Iron Infusions

CPR and emergency resuscitation

Clinical Procedures to ECG, ABI

Clinical Data Management

Management of recalls and reminders

Immunizations

Wound Management

Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures.

Maintain regular stock levels according to practice procedures.

Recall and Reminder Systems Management

Maintain clean and safe working environment and to understand importance of policy and procedures and to be able to follow these.

The successful applicants will have:

Current Nurse Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Current Professional Indemnity Insurance

Current National Police Certificate Check and Current First Aid and CPR Certification

Up to date vaccination relevant to profession

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Attention to detail, ability to work independently and as a part of the team, be proactive and motivated.

Best Practice Software are an advantage.
