We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Administration / Data Entry guru to join our Townsville depot for a full-time position, 4 on 4 off rotating roster.
If you have a background in Administration and Data entry within a fast paced office environment and/or the Transport industry we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing Performing accurate data entry into Microsoft Office and Internal/external web based systems?
Logging, entering and managing daily jobs and ensure correct completion and documentation
Coordination and management of job allocation and manifesting via online systems
Liaising and assisting with client bookings and enquiries efficiently and professionally
Supporting Operations team with day-to-day load and administrative tasks
Maintaining detailed and well-organized job files electronically
Ensuring smooth communication between internal departments and external clients
Management of office area - telephone, face to face and email communications
Filing and scanning
General housekeeping of work area
General administration duties as required
What We’re Looking for Previous experience in Administration and/or working in a transport or logistics environment
Proficient in using Microsoft system (Word, Excel, outlook)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with a systematic approach
Eagerness to learn with positive working attitude and willingness to be trained in the applied role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a strong sense of initiative and ability to multi task
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to time manage and meet deadlines
Ability to contribute as a valued team member and commitment to confidentiality
QLD driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Willingness to undergo employment medical (including DandA screening) and police check
