Mechanical Fitter

Install, assemble, and repair mechanical equipment. Maintain pumps, motors, compressors, valves, and piping systems. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Replace faulty bearings, seals, couplings, and other mechanical parts. Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs. Read mechanical drawings and use hand and power tools safely.

Working Environment: Commercial buildings. Factories and industrial plants. Hospitals. Shopping malls. Facility management and maintenance projects

The work often involves maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation to keep facility systems operating safely and efficiently. Depending on the project, there may also be shift work, emergency call-outs, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
