Site Supervisor (Steel Fabrication) Key Responsibilities

Understand and read structural steel drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication/erection details.

Supervise all steel fabrication and installation activities at workshop and site.

Manage manpower including fabricators, welders, fitters, riggers, and helpers effectively.

Ensure execution of work strictly as per approved drawings, specifications, and site instructions.

Control and monitor fitting, welding, cutting, assembly, and steel erection activities.

Check alignment, leveling, bolting, and welding quality during fabrication and erection stages.

Coordinate material movement, availability, and proper utilization at site/workshop.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and correct workmanship standards.

Enforce safety procedures, ensure PPE compliance, and maintain safe working conditions.

Prepare daily progress reports including manpower deployment, productivity, and site status updates.
