BSS Psychology is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Manager to join our amazing leadership team. The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, supporting the clinical team's performance and development, and ensuring safe, effective, and compliant service delivery that aligns with our commitment to delivering high-quality psychological services within the EAP market. The Clinical Manager works with the executive, management teams and key stakeholders to implement and manage organisational policies and procedures that support all aspects of the work we do.

The key responsibilities in this role include:
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the clinical team
Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
Monitor service quality, risk, and client outcomes
Along with relevant stakeholders, contribute to service planning, continuous improvement initiatives and the overall strategic direction of our organisation.
The key requirements for this role include:
Registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA) and although not essential, Board Approved Supervisor (or eligible to become one)
Demonstrated experience in leadership and management
Minimum of 5 years of leadership and management experience is required
Experience in Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) management is preferred
Strong understanding of risk management and clinical governance
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead in a structured, professional, and outcomes-focused manner
The Clinical Manager reports directly to the Chief People Officer and is supported by Clinical Team Leaders. The role is full-time and on-site at the BSS head office in Osborne Park, Western Australia.
The Clinical Manager role is a dedicated leadership position. Engagement in client work is not a core requirement; however, opportunities for clinical practice may be accommodated at the Manager's discretion, for example to maintain professional registration, clinical currency, or areas of specialist interest. Notwithstanding this, involvement in high-level or complex clinical work may be required as part of the role to support risk management, clinical decision-making, and service quality.
