About this role: We’re looking for a creative storyteller who can turn ideas into content that our Canberra community actually want to read, watch and share.
As a Content Officer, you’ll help bring Icon Water’s voice to life, creating content that connects with the community, supports key initiatives and makes complex topics easy to understand. You’ll work across a mix of projects, from digital content and campaigns to internal communications, collaborating with teams across the business.
What you’ll do
Craft content that is clear, engaging and tailored to different audiences and channels
Develop visual assets such as graphics, short videos and photography to support storytelling
Contribute to campaigns by helping shape ideas and producing content that cuts through
Publish and manage content across digital platforms
Work closely with internal experts to gather insights and translate them into meaningful messages
Coordinate your work to meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed
Apply our brand and style guidelines consistently across everything you produce
Occasionally support after-hours communications and media-related activities.
What you’ll bring
A talent for writing with clarity, creativity and purpose
Experience producing visual and written content for digital platforms and online audiences
Confidence explaining complex or technical topics in simple terms
An eye for design and an interest in multimedia content (e.g. video, animations or graphics)
Relevant qualifications or practical experience in communications, marketing or a similar field.
