Caregiver, babysitting (Caregiver for children)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $10.76 hourly for 44 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Fort Smith, Northwest Territories (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Experience: Will train
Children's Ages: Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years), School age (6 - 12 years)
Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Help children with homework, Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
