Nurse Manager Role

We are seeking a dynamic, friendly, self-motivated, empathic, forward thinking individual to lead our treatment room. Nurse Practitioner applicants will also perform telehealth consultations.

We are a brand new General Practice located in Nedlands. Our mission is to provide the best evidence-based, whole person care to discerning patients. We empower our patients with information and choices to maximise their health in all areas. We will provide longer consultations in complex areas of medicine, from the most experienced Consultant GPs. We are fully private billing and also offer telehealth services. Respectful team culture is one of our highest priorities.

Role Details:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about enriching health and wellness. Working closely with the owner, your pivotal role will be to manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the treatment room. With our practice manager and IT / admin team supporting you to work autonomously and respecting your clinical expertise, we strive to ensure that we deliver a superior customer service experience. Our patients will be fully supported, informed, and respected in their wellness journey.

The role is ideally suited to someone with excellent people skills, clinical judgement, multitasking capacity and a calm organised nature. We value your opinions and input from the beginning to shape a culture of inclusion, integrity and respect, fundamental to the clinic we are developing. You will be required to develop evidence based systems and design efficient workflow routines. 30 hours / week initially to can commence casually and become P/T or F/T as we grow to negotiable conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Oversee the smooth running of the Treatment Room, efficient gold-standard procedures and documentation.

Communication: Handle patient inquiries and feedback, liaise with doctors and PM to ensure seamless service and safe and timely collaboration of patient care. Coordinate with senior Admin to develop efficient work flow routines.

Management: Oversee casual nurses, help with recruitment and organise systems, policies and procedures. Assist in accreditation.

Privacy: Manage confidential information with a high level of professionalism.

Technology: Manage platforms including Best Practice and Automed and AIR.

Candidates must demonstrate basic familiarity with Best Practice software to successfully manage the technological requirements of this role.

- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in using with Microsoft office, electronic medical records, preferably Best Practice.

- Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

- Previous Practice Nursing experience at least 2 years is essential.
