NWMC has exciting opportunities available within our Rail Division following the award of a new pipeline of works. We are seeking experienced Civil Operators to join our growing team, with positions based throughout the Pilbara region.

What you will be working on

We are seeking experienced and reliable operators to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out ground works and operating a range of heavy machinery, including tippers, skid steers, rollers, loaders, graders, and excavators to support civil construction and bulk earthworks projects.

Your duties will include undertaking civil and earthmoving activities for the construction and maintenance of railway formations, drainage and culverts, clearing corridors, constructing maintenance access roads and fencing works. You will be responsible for safely moving and placing materials, conducting routine equipment checks, maintaining a high standard of machine operation, and supporting the wider site team to ensure project milestones are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What type of Person will be successful

You will have experience working with Graders, Loaders, Excavators, Tipper Trucks, Watercarts or Skid Steers.

Nationally and current accredited tickets

Minimum Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s license

Construction Industry White Card

Proven experience in civil construction, bulk earthworks and Rail in a mining/FIFO environment is highly desired

Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and DAS

Police Check (within 6 months)

Australian working rights
