Business Development Manager to Freight Forwarding

Linktal Recruitment

Mascot, Sydney NSW (Hybrid)

Freight/Cargo Forwarding (Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics)

Full time

120,000 to 160,000 per year

If money is your driver, this is one of the most financially rewarding BDM roles in the Australian freight forwarding market.

The commission structure is one of the most lucrative around. More challenging to hit, but once you do, the percentage you take home far exceeds industry standard. For someone who backs themselves, this changes your financial trajectory.

You'll be selling for a globally established forwarder with 150+ locations worldwide. General cargo, project cargo, heavy lifts. The full suite.

The brand opens doors and their capabilities help you close them. Once you establish yourself, you'll have the opportunity to build your own support team around you.

Why consider?

120k–160k base + super + car allowance + commission

15%, uncapped, clients are yours for the life of your accounts, one of the market's best commission structures

150+ locations, full service capabilities across general and project cargo

Stable team, experienced leadership, strong market reputation

You will

Hunt and convert new business across trade lanes and services

Build a pipeline from SME through to corporate

You have

A proven track record in freight forwarding BDM or sales

Local market knowledge and a network ready to go
