Job Purpose

To ensure the efficient management of spare parts inventory by maintaining stock accuracy, timely procurement, proper storage, and prompt issuance of parts to support service operations and achieve high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management

Maintain accurate stock records. Monitor inventory levels. Perform cycle counts and annual stock audits. Investigate inventory discrepancies.

Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.

Spare Parts Operations: Receive and inspect incoming spare parts. Label and store parts correctly. Issue spare parts to technicians and workshops. Process spare parts returns.

Handle warranty parts according to company procedures.

Procurement Coordination: Raise purchase requests. Follow up with suppliers on pending orders. Monitor backordered items. Coordinate urgent parts requirements.

Documentation: Prepare quotations. Process delivery notes. Update ERP/SAP records. Maintain inventory reports. Archive supporting documents.

Reporting: Weekly inventory status. Monthly stock movement. Slow-moving and obsolete inventory reports. Critical stock shortage reports. Parts consumption analysis.

KPIs: Inventory accuracy. Stock availability. Order fulfillment rate. Inventory turnover. Number of stock discrepancies. On-time spare parts issuance. Backorder reduction.
