Vacancy: Qualified Electrician MV Electrical Maintenance (Johannesburg)

Description: We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and safety-conscious Electrician to join our electrical infrastructure team in Johannesburg.

Minimum Requirements: Valid Electrician Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal preferred). Minimum 5 years proven experience in Medium Voltage (MV) electrical into works. Experience working on municipal electrical infrastructure projects. Competent in MV fault finding, testing, repairs, and maintenance. Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical infrastructure and associated equipment. Valid drivers licence (Code B or higher). Willing to work overtime, weekends, after-hours, and emergency call-outs. Must reside in Johannesburg or surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities: Carry out maintenance and repairs on MV electrical infrastructure. Perform MV fault finding, testing, and repairs. Install, maintain, and replace electrical equipment and associated infrastructure. Respond to planned and emergency maintenance call-outs. Complete job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation accurately. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements, municipal standards, and company procedures

Advantageous: Experience in streetlight maintenance and repairs. Experience working on municipal maintenance contracts. Valid Working at Heights, Fall Protection, and First Aid certifications.
