We are seeking Auto Electricians for ongoing field service, backfill, ad-hoc, and shut crews to join the Ready's team!

The Work

Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and associated control devices.

Undertake electrical repairs on various vehicles and plant both 12volt and 24 Volt systems

Repair parts and equipment when needed

Diagnostics and Fault finding, use of scan tools

Order parts and equipment as necessary

Using testing equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions

Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components

Testing and replacing defective, alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors.

Identify repairs required via unfair wear and tear, and advice the service manager and foreman mechanic. 

What We Want

Auto Electrician with 3+ years of relevant experience post trade

AUS/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate-Cert III Automotive Electrical Technology AUR30320

Driver’s licence (C class minimum)

High Risk License, LF, DG, EWP, and WAH preferred but not essential

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen

Reliable, safe, and can work hard without being hand-held
