About the Role

This is a senior delivery role for an experienced development or major projects professional who can lead complex projects from planning, design and approvals through procurement, construction, settlement and final completion. You will take a lead role in delivering complex greenfield and urban development projects, providing technical, commercial and stakeholder leadership across multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex land and urban development projects.

Manage scope, budgets, schedules, resources, milestones and delivery KPIs.

Coordinate feasibility, design, approvals, procurement, construction and handover.

Manage development agreements, contracts, commercial obligations and delivery requirements.

Provide strategic reporting and advice to senior executives and government stakeholders.

Lead governance, risk, procurement, compliance and contract management.

Resolve complex project, commercial and stakeholder issues.

Build strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, utilities and government agencies.

Lead multidisciplinary teams and drive delivery against time, cost, quality and community objectives.

Drive successful settlement and project completion outcomes.

Essential Experience

10+ years' relevant project, program, development or engineering experience.

Demonstrated experience delivering complex land, urban, greenfield, infrastructure or major development projects.

Strong end-to-end project delivery capability covering planning, approvals, procurement, construction and completion.

Strong commercial, contract, procurement and risk management experience.

Experience working with multiple senior stakeholders across government and/or industry.

Strong governance, reporting and compliance capability.

Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence outcomes in complex environments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide advice to senior executives.

Highly Desirable

Previous Australian Government / government agency experience.

Direct land subdivision, urban development or greenfield development experience.

Experience with Delivery Deeds, Development Agreements or similar development contracts.
