About the role

Noosa Heads Medical is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join our practice in Noosa Heads, Queensland. This is a contract position offering flexibility and autonomy for an experienced GP looking to maintain a sustainable work-life balance in a beautiful coastal location. You will work on a billings model of 70-75%, allowing you to benefit directly from your clinical productivity whilst enjoying the benefits of working within an established, supportive medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across a range of acute and chronic conditions

Conducting patient consultations, diagnostic assessments, and developing individualised treatment plans

Managing preventative care, health screening programmes, and chronic disease management

Maintaining accurate and timely medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Collaborating with allied health professionals and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care

Contributing to the professional and collegial culture of the practice through peer support and knowledge sharing

Participating in continuing professional development and maintaining clinical competency standards

What we're looking for

Current AHPRA Registration with General or Specialist Registration

Demonstrated experience as a General Practitioner in primary care settings

Strong clinical knowledge and capability across a breadth of general practice areas

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare colleagues

Flexibility, reliability, and commitment to providing quality patient care

Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment
