Senior Mobile QA Engineer
Type: Full Time
Job Overview:
As a Senior Mobile QA Engineer you will be responsible for testing our native iOS and Android apps. You will also be involved with testing our flagship web app. You will work directly with developers, designers and other members of the FreshGrade team to ensure the release of a high quality product.
You will plan and execute acceptance testing of new releases and features, develop automated product regression tests, and perform manual testing across devices and platforms. You will also be involved throughout the software development life-cycle to improve quality and release world class software.
Job Requirements:
• Conduct functional and feature acceptance testing that finds defects as early as possible
• Develop functional and performance testing strategies and processes
• Automated the testing tools and platforms to speed up and simplify regression testing
• Define and report on key QA metrics
• Be a strong advocate for quality in the product development process
• Work in conjunction with product development and engineering team members to maintain quality standards across products and platforms
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience
• 5+ years QA experience, with experience building and leading QA teams
• 2+ years direct experience testing mobile apps
• Automated functional testing experience with tools like Xcode Integration Server, UIAutomationViewer, MonkeyTalk, Appium, etc.
• Continuous integration testing experience with CI tools like TeamCity/Jenkins
• Excellent cross-team coordination and communication skills are required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Passion for product quality and attention to detail
