The Role
We are looking for a fun and energetic developer who will assist in the development of our HQ platform and technologies. If you are ambitious, a detail-oriented problem solver, and are looking for an opportunity where you can develop experience across a variety of technologies, Payfirma is a great organization for you to grow within.
Primary Responsibilities
Write server side code for web based applications with an emphasis on security, scalability, and performance
Write dynamic, secure front end code for web based applications
Created automated tests for front and back end systems
Assist in the design of software systems from requirements gathering through to specification and documentation
Work in an agile environment with a tight nit team to produce amazing products
Requirements
Strong background in software development
Several years experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP
Experience with AJAX, JSON, and frameworks like Backbone.js
Knowledge of SQL, specifically Postgres or MySQL a plus
Passionate about technology
Strong team player
A can do attitude and an eagerness to learn
Nice To Haves
Education in computer science, or other relevant technical fields
Experience with Node.js
Cordova/Phonegap or similar
Java, Objective-C, Scala
Security driven programming experience
Test driven development experience
Compensation
Compensation package is commensurate with experience. Employee will be paid a competitive base salary, potential commissions and annual bonuses.
