Equipment: Doosan DX225LCA / DX220LCA, Komatsu PC210

Project: Saudi Aramco Project

Iqama Profession: Heavy Equipment Operator / Excavator Operator (must match job title)

Iqama Status: Transferable Iqama only (mandatory) — candidate must be able to transfer sponsorship (kafala) to the company/contractor without restriction

Certification Required: Valid SPSP (Safety Passport) certificate specific to the above listed excavator models

Job Purpose

To safely and efficiently operate excavators (Doosan DX225LCA, DX220LCA, Komatsu PC210) for excavation, trenching, loading, grading, and material handling activities on Saudi Aramco project sites, in full compliance with Aramco HSE and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate excavator models DX225LCA, DX220LCA, and PC210 for digging, trenching, backfilling, loading trucks, and site leveling as per work instructions.

Conduct pre-start and post-operation equipment inspections (visual checks, fluid levels, hydraulic systems, tracks, attachments) and report defects/malfunctions immediately.

Perform daily checklist and equipment log documentation as per Aramco requirements.

Follow all Aramco HSE procedures, permit-to-work (PTW) systems, and site-specific safety rules.

Coordinate with supervisors, riggers, banksmen/spotters, and other crew for safe and efficient operations.

Maintain safe operating distances from personnel, structures, underground utilities, and overhead lines.

Ensure proper housekeeping around the equipment and work area.

Report near-misses, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly per Aramco reporting protocols.

Perform minor operator-level maintenance and coordinate with maintenance team for repairs.

Operate equipment within rated load/capacity limits; no unauthorized modifications or overloading.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience operating excavators, preferably Doosan DX225LCA/DX220LCA and Komatsu PC210 models.

Valid SPSP (Safety Passport) specific to the above excavator models — mandatory.

Transferable Iqama (final exit not accepted / Iqama must not be restricted or under a non-cooperative sponsor) — mandatory.

Iqama profession must exactly match job title (Excavator Operator / Heavy Equipment Operator) — mandatory for Aramco compliance/mobilization.

Prior Aramco or major oil and gas site experience preferred.

Valid Saudi driving license / heavy equipment operating license (as applicable).

Basic understanding of excavation safety, trenching hazards, and underground utility awareness.

Ability to read basic site drawings/marks and follow supervisor instructions.

Good physical fitness; able to pass Aramco medical fitness test (GOSI/medical clearance as applicable).

Basic English/Arabic communication skills (site safety instructions).

Work Conditions

Aramco project site-based role, outdoor working environment.

May involve shift work, including day/night shifts as per project requirement.

PPE compliance mandatory at all times.

Subject to Aramco site access approval, security clearance, and medical/fitness clearance prior to mobilization.
