This is a Permanent Part Time appointment for 54 hours (0.71 FTE) per fortnight.
Position Profile: As a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Perioperative Services, you will be responsible for the delivery of advanced and complex paediatric patient care. You will provide a clinical consultation service within this area of expertise and will work collaboratively to improve the quality of patient care and promote desired outcomes in the paediatric patient population, which includes patients with complex needs within the inpatient setting. A minimum of 5 years surgical perioperative paediatric experience is essential
About the Department/Service /Directorate: The Operating Theatres Complex at Perth Children's Hospital provides a safe and technologically advanced environment for surgery. Here's what you can expect:
Multiple Theatres: Our 12 operating theatres are equipped for both elective (planned) and emergency surgeries, as well as specialized procedures.
Seamless Care: The Operating Theatre Complex and PACU are directly connected to other critical care units, Paediatric Critical Care (PCC) and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as well as the Surgical Admissions ward and Surgical Short Stay Unit.
