An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support a major program within a large banking environment.

You'll work closely with cyber security, cloud, infrastructure and identity teams to strengthen controls and improve resilience against emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

Drive vulnerability remediation and exposure management activities.

Coordinate responses to critical vulnerabilities and emerging cyber threats.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk-based prioritisation.

Support threat advisory activities and risk reduction programs.

Improve security metrics, reporting and compliance capabilities.

Partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve cyber posture.

Develop and maintain operational standards and security procedures.

Required Experience

Extensive experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys or Rapid7.

Strong understanding of security hardening and configuration management.

Experience responding to critical vulnerabilities and cyber threats.

Knowledge of Essential Eight, ASD ISM, NIST CSF and CIS Benchmarks.

Ability to assess risk and prioritise remediation efforts.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Highly Regarded

Experience with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.

CISSP, CISM, CRISC or GIAC certifications.

Previous banking or highly regulated industry experience.
