We're Rest-A-Sured Security. WA owned and operated since 1998, based in Wangara. We design, install and maintain CCTV, alarms, access control, intercoms and electric fencing for homes and businesses right across WA, including ongoing work with shopping centers and commercial property groups.

We need ONE switched-on technician to join the team on the road. You're the face of Rest-A-Sured on every site you walk onto, from a family home to a shopping center control room.

If you need someone on the phone to walk you through every job, this isn't for you. Stop reading.

But if you can take a job from start to finish, leave the site cleaner than you found it, and want to be paid properly for it… keep reading. This is the role you've been waiting for.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

Pay: 90,000 to 110,000. Where you land depends on what you bring. Run CCTV jobs on your own and you're at the top.

Your van: A company van, stocked and set up. Keep it organised and it's yours to run.

The hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. No weekend roster. Your evenings are yours. Some early starts and minimal night works.

Training: We pay for the courses that make you better. One of our techs is on one right now.

Your own sites: Prove yourself and you become the go-to tech for a commercial client. Their site, your relationships.

The gear: Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, Tecom, Integriti and Milestone. Quality kit, not the cheapest box on the shelf.

The team: Small and tight. Nobody's left on their own.

We'd rather pay one great tech properly than run a revolving door of average ones.

THE WORK

You're the one clients see. What you do on site is what they remember about us.

Installs from scratch: CCTV, alarms, access control and intercoms.

Service and fault-finding: on systems we installed and ones we didn't.

Commercial sites: shopping centers, control rooms and property groups, where how you carry yourself matters as much as your work.

Jobs logged properly in Aroflo: notes, photos and sign-off, so the office can invoice without chasing you.

The odd after-hours call-out: a handful a year, shared across the team.

Your goal: walk in, get it done right the first time, and leave the client wanting to call us again.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Character first, CV second.

You work it out. You check the manual and the job notes before you pick up the phone.

Running late? You call the client yourself, before they have to call us.

You respect their space. It's their house, their office, their control room. You act like a guest.

Your van and your tools are where they should be. Every time.

When the phone rings after hours, you answer it. Not every week. Just when it matters.

You MUST have:

2+ years as a security or electronic security technician

A WA security installer licence

A white card

A current driver's licence

Bonus points if you:

Can commission a CCTV system end to end without help

Have worked shopping centre or other commercial sites

Hold a cabling registration and / or EWP Licence

Leave a site tidier than you found it, every time
