We’re Hiring: Safety Engineer / Supervisor

Bright East Steel Company (BESCO) is looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer / Supervisor to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

Key Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience in industrial, steel fabrication, construction, or oil and gas industries.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or an equivalent recognized occupational health and safety qualification.

Certified ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Lead Auditor and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Lead Auditor.

Key Responsibilities: Implement, maintain, and continually improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Prepare for and conduct internal and external ISO audits, address findings, and ensure timely closure of nonconformities.

Develop, implement, review, and update HSE manuals, policies, procedures, and work instructions.

Supervise daily site safety activities and ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety plans, legal requirements, and client specifications.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness training.

Report and investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental spills, and support corrective and preventive actions.
