Could you be our next up and coming Stylist? Are you looking to develop your career in a supportive and fun environment? Studio Luxe is a boutique salon in the beautiful suburb of Mosman Park. We offer a range of high quality services and products to our clients including learning from our curly hair specialists.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an Apprentice to join our salon team. No prior hairdressing experience is required but a bubbly, friendly personality is essential! If you are a hard-working, team player who is passionate about giving clients an exceptional experience then we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications and Skills

Passionate about the hair and beauty industry

No prior hairdressing experience necessary but we also welcome applicants who have commenced their Apprenticeship already

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Well-presented is essential,

Ability to take initiative and a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude

Able to multi-task and work effectively under pressure

Have a confident phone manner

Passionate about learning and personal growth

Responsibilities

Initially, assist with day to day salon tasks including answering phones, responding to emails and DMs, prepare/cape up clients, serving refreshments, processing payments

Support social media content creation, including photos, videos, editing and posting

Shampooing, rinsing colours and dry offs

Support Senior Stylists by following directions and assisting where needed

Maintain inventory of products and tools, including stock takes

Keep up to date with current hair trends through continued education

Packaging online orders

ADHOC tasks and responsibilities when they arise
