Job Description
The Ideal Pharmacy Technician will be able to provide our valued customers with the following:
Exceptionally friendly, courteous and prompt service to all customers
Answers any/all customer inquiries
Able to grasp new concepts quickly
Able to operate a computerized terminal - Kroll (training provided)
Organized and able to adapt to the various demands of the department
Able to work independently or in a group setting
Must have a minimum of two years experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR must have successfully completed a Pharmacy Technician course by a recognized college
Responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions
Responsible for administrative tasks such as but not limited to ordering, receiving, third party billing, reconciliations, running computer reports
The Pharmacy technician will report directly to the Pharmacist on duty and ultimately to the Pharmacy Manager
