Internal Account Manager, Our client, a well established and internationally owned company requires an Internal Account Manager to be responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through to assisting the External Account Managers to close. Previous telesales, sales or internal sales experience is a must as well as a proven sales track record.
Responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through to assisting External Account Manager to close. Develops and implements agreed upon Sales Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the relevant marketing area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the sales of Pointer’s suite of products across all verticals
• Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows for the effective presentation of the full Pointer product suite telephonically and online
• Develops annual sales plan in conjunction with External Account Manager, Sales Managers and VP of Sales and Marketing, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Internal Sales Representative on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
• Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
• Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers telephonically or online.
• Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
• Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
• Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email, and networking through scheduled canvassing periods throughout the working day
• Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed through measured campaign s and spotlighting activities.
• Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and the Pointer solutions to their problems.
• Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
• Responsible for assisting the External Account Manager in winning, developing or retaining corporate clients and increasing interaction within these clients.
• Responsible for identifying and building effective influence networks.
• Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems.
• Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of in-house Pointer CRM systems to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

• Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction.
• Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
• Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.
• 4-6 years of sales experience in the corporate sales environment - Fleet and Asset Management experience preferred
•Experience within the Fleet, Asset Management and Telematics market preferred
•Extensive experience in all aspects of customer relationship management and Internal Sales Support vital
•Strong understanding of customer and decision making dynamics is a key requirement
•Proven ability to execute well against metric and task level imperative
•Proven ability to work well in a team is vital
•Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
