HR Manager
HR Manager - OTC (Pharmaceutical an advantage)
700K - 800 K CTC Slightly negotiable
Responsible for approx. 500 staff compliment (entire division)
Will be responsible for the entire OTC Division. Preferably BEE female
Successful candidate must possess the following experience but not limited to Industrial Relations (Union experience)
• Recruitment and Selection
• Performance Management
• Remuneration and Benefits (Incentive grids and TRP’s) - candidate will need to pick up pieces and get the ball rolling Candidate must be able to work with no supervision (Does not want to baby someone) Key Responsibilities taken from various previous job specs (Guideline)
Recruitment and selection processes: Provide training to line in recruitment procedures and assist with recruitment process where necessary, Follow policies and procedures for recruiting, Facilitate take-on administration with new appointments, Vacancies signed off by Line, HC and CEO, ensure clear processes in place, Recruitment / Assessment costs kept to a minimum. Research new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting, Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
 Transformation: Ensure buy in and implementation of action plans to attain Business Transformation Targets, Assist with achievements of targets as agreed to by business unit scorecard, Total EE Forum Structure fully functional- Procedural Compliance Audit, EE Plan deliverables - Action plans developed and executed, Succession planning / Leadership Development: Succession Plans / Career Plans developed per Critical positions identified and executed / monitored, Conduct Health check Interviews per timelines - Analysis utilized to develop retention plans - Ongoing per time lines, Implementation of WSP / PDP’s monitored and driven, Assist with Wellness Program, Improvement in Productivity levels, Absenteeism decreased, 50% reduction in Temp / Fixed Term contract employees - permanent placement / out of system, Facilitate talent Management skills transfer to Line, Conduct talent risk analysis and facilitate business specific leadership development-talent action plans,
Performance Management: Performance Management Process understood and fully implemented, Percentage as per review circle, Collate Divisional ratings, Ensure PDP processes are implemented and indicate where implementation of business specific training programmed are needed, Facilitate talent management process and talent grid placement with functional / business leaders
Human Capital Governance: Ensure compliance with all laws, rules, codes & standards, Ensure Transparent and thorough recruitment processes, Ensure importance of ethical culture lived and communicated, Ensure formal orientation, mentoring & continuous professional development, Good quality people metrics e.g. headcount, staff turnover, performance management, succession planning and personal development programs, Preparation and presentation of cases (conciliation / arbitration) at external dispute resolution bodies (Bargaining Council), Clear rationale and business case for any restructuring developed in conjunction with line management
Employee Benefits/ Industrial Relations: Manage retirement / retrenchment preparation program, Facilitation of consultation processes, Policies, procedures and proposed changes communicated to everyone, Facilitation of dispute processes, Coordinating & attending of disciplinarians e.g. making sure correct policies & procedures are followed, Maintain accurate document trials re all Conciliation / Arbitration disputes, Develop job profiles for all relevant positions, City/Town: Gauteng, Location: Gauteng, Wage/Salary: neg, Start: asap, Duration: permanent, Type: Full Time experienced candidates only, Company: Rumarch People Solutions
