The distribution side of the business took off when Beecham Laboratories (now GSK) became an IDS partner in 1979.
In the 1980s, Hoechst AG (now Sanofi of France) and Bayer AG selected IDS as their exclusive partner in the UAE. Over this period, we saw rapid expansion in our network of partners and customers, solidifying our brand and gaining a significant share of the market.
