Security Guard
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Night
Salary: $11.50 Hourly for 40 hours per week, As per collective agreement, Medical Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, Vision Care Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Tottenham, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Security Guard Licence, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Work Setting: Private security agency, Factory or plant
Type of Assignments: Fixed post, Foot patrol
Specific Skills: Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, Write reports
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
Essential Skills: Document use, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Computer use
Languages: English
