Job Description
Accounting/Bookkeeper – A positive and motivated individual, with a minimum of 2 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience and excellent computer skills and have a solid understanding of MS Office. Job involves performing full-cycle bookkeeping duties which include processing A/R and A/P, invoicing, managing cash flow, reconciling bank statements, preparing monthly financials and preparing Hst returns. Prepare bank deposits by compiling data from cashiers, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to banks and receive, record and bank, cash, checks and vouchers. Complete and submit tax forms and returns, workers’ compensation forms and other government documents. Maintain inventory records, prepare expense reports. Operate 10-key calculator, typewriter, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents. Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence. Must have a proactive approach to work independently as well as positive contributor to the team. Formal Education required with 1 or 2 years experience.  Knowledge of Simply Accounting/SAGE
