Charterhouse is working with a European trading business that is in the process of setting up a Dubai based operation to act as a regional hub for both trades and bookings. Our client is looking to hire an Accounting and Finance Analyst. Supporting the Head of Middle and Back Office, this role will manage all areas of financial accounting in line with IFRS and group standards, whilst acting as a business partner in reporting terms. The accounting function will also involve a consolidation across the ERP along with adherence to operational settlements and confirmations. You will oversee all P and L; accounting and report analysis linked to areas of risk and VAR whilst also providing data for credit analysis across the client base and transactional undertakings. The remit will also focus on sections of ad hoc project work within areas of accounting policies and procedures ensuring strong and accurate front to back systems capturing all areas of reconciliation and settlement. The successful candidate should be a professionally qualified Accountant who can demonstrate strong technical accounting skills coupled with a sound knowledge of trading platforms and product related accounting technicalities.
