Job Description
Salary: $17.00 to $22.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Employer: Landscaping Maintenance Construction and Design Company
Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Specialization: Growth of ornamental plants, Landscape design, Landscape construction, Plant knowledge and identification
Type of Experience: Residential projects, Commercial/industrial construction, Industrial construction, Public gardens
Landscape Design Skills: conceptual designs, presentation graphics and drawings, working drawings, Survey and assess designated sites
Construction Skills: Rock gardens, Fieldstone paths, Stone garden walls, Ornamental ponds, fountains and waterfalls, Interlocking brick, Retaining walls
Responsibilities:
Analysis lot grading plans and reports, and location measuring or location analysis
Using AutoCAD or other software to create computer generated landscape design
Completing a detailed landscape design with planting plan and any necessary construction drawings
Provide visual aids with design presentation such as renderings, perspectives, or 3d drawings
Perform design presentations and conduct site meetings with the construction crew members.
