Create and maintain maintenance plans, performance tuning, advise programmers on improving schemas, Plan and establish technology roadmaps, product goals, and development strategies, Participate in a highly collaborative environment, we want you to share your expertise, making everyone else better and facilitating constant learning, Proactively monitor 24/7 mission critical servers, What does our ideal candidate look like, 5+ Years of experience as a DBA, SQL Server 2008 database administration tasks, Transact SQL (TSQL), Command level experience with SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2, Experience with SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 Management Studio, SQL Server HA (high availability), SQL Server Replication, SQL Server Database Mirroring, Windows and SQL Server Clustering, Ubuntu Linux, Docker and Puppet, New database installations, Database monitoring performance tuning, Backups and recovery, Database monitoring, Server and database security, Index management and optimization, Experience in developing functions and stored procedures, Capable of multi-tasking and ability to manage projects, Experience with Postgres, Cassandra is preferred, Experience in the social networking, dating, or other subscription-based business is a plus, Bonus points for SQL Server 2012/2014 experience
