Do you have a passion for excellence? Are you able to ensure coffee quality and provide coffee education for team members and guests? Do you lead by example and see roasting coffee as a way to inspire change?
As the Coffee Quality Manager you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our coffee quality. You'll need to have experience sourcing green beans, developing roast profiles, roasting, maintaining equipment, and also be able to pull a killer shot. You'll be part of our management team and report directly to the CEO.
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least three years of roasting experience with an excellent understanding of cupping, and roast and blending profiles
- Have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the coffee industry
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset
- Have professional computer experience (Mac, Google, Spreadsheets)
- Have professional barista experience
- Experience as a coffee trainer is an asset
- Q-grader certification or Roasters' Guild certifications are an asset
