Roma Masonry Ltd. requires Journeyman Bricklayers to work Permanent  Full Time in Winnipeg and surounding areas in Manitoba in the commercial, industrial institutional sector.  Salary is $35.47 hourly for 40 hours per week .
Description:
Lay and bind materials such as brick, concrete block, cinder block, glass block and stone with mortar and other substances to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches and other structures.
Duties include:
Read sketchs and blue prints to calculate material required
Measure distance from reference points and mark guidelines to layout work
Calculate angles and courses
Cut and trim brick, blocks, stone and similar material to specifications using hand and power tools
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, glass blocks, stone,etc for new build and repair or restoration projects
Build interior/exteriorwalls, partitions, arches, chimneys, fireplaces and other structures in accordance with blueprints and specifications
Remove and replace existing masonry work for repairs
Waterproof masonry
Education: Completion of a Trade Certification through a college or vocational/technical training
Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience or 3 to 4 year apprentice
