Maintenance Technician, Location: Lakeland, FL, Salary Range: $18 - $22/hour, Position: Maintenance

Description: Technician responsibilities include the trouble shooting, repair maintenance and modification of R&D, Production, QA/QC equipment, as well as ensuring preventive maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner. Specialize in the up keep, monitoring performance, watching indicators and noting changes. Assist with ordering of spare parts and maintaining spare parts inventories. Technician duties require a good working knowledge of mechanics and use of precision measuring tools, construction methods and techniques, electrical systems and controls, pneumatic, hydraulic and vacuum systems, Maintenance technicians are required to work independently with minimal supervision, perform their duties with a high level of skill, document work performed when required in a clear and legible manner, communicate their needs and the status of equipment being serviced as needed. Technicians will be required to work overtime and weekends when necessary, and may be required to come in when called in the event of unusual breakdowns or in the event that staff on duty needs assistance.

Manage time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of positive problem solving skills. Assist in the development, maintenance, calibration, and documentation of new product services and equipment. Maintenance responsibilities include the repair, and modification of R&D, Production, Facilities and QA/QC equipment. Assist in the coordination of the design, construction, and installation of R&D, Production, Facilities and QA/QC equipment. Ensure preventive maintenance is performed correctly and documented per the procedures. Generate and maintain preventive maintenance documentation. Assist in the development, training, and implementation of equipment qualification documentation. Communicate problems and/or any suggestions to the Maintenance Manager.

High School Diploma. Minimum 5 years experience working with automated and semi-automated equipment. Good organizational skills, computer literate, ability to focus with an overall view while doing all tasks, ability to interact with all associates. Good working knowledge of equipment controls, mechanics, pneumatics and inspection systems.

High energy, mobility and great attitude are keys to success. • Have to be computer literate.
